With fertile farming areas we are known as the 'NSW food basket.' Our local produce and producers are celebrated during Orange F.O.O.D. Week with heaps of gastronomical activities, gourmet dining with fresh local produce and regional wine.

Orange has some of Australis best cool climate wine makers and  is best known for its Cabernet, Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, but also produces Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Viognier and Riesling. With many small wine bars and wineries about. you will be spoiled with choice.

A great way to discover the splendid heritage in the enchanting city of Orange is on the self-guided Orange Heritage Trail. Pick up a brochure from the Visitor Information Centre, where the walk begins, and amble along pretty streets and through gorgeous parks.
